Church News:

**This Christmas Season Wellspring has many events that will impact our community and those we are connected with.**

Wellspring Women’s Night:  Wellspring Women will meet again on December 9th @ 7PM.  This month we will have a special message from Patty Teed.  Please bring a dozen cookies to pass and bring a friend!

Wellspring Toys and Tunes Night:  December 16th @ 7PM we are hosting an amazing community Christmas Concert!  The first half hour we will enjoy a performance by the after school kid’s choir, Midlakes Kid’s Sing, that meets every Tuesday at Wellspring.  The second half hour will highlight the Finger Lakes Community College Jazz Choir.  This is a free concert.  HOWEVER, we ask that all who are able, to bring one NEW toy of any value.  The toys collected will be turned over to the local Marine Corps annual Toys-for-Tots toy drive!  Linda and I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Wellspring Coat Drive:  Bring your unused and unwanted coats and place them under the tree in the auditorium this Christmas Season.  These coats will be distributed to the homeless in our area.  Hats, gloves and new socks/long johns are also welcome.  This was a HUGE success last year that impacted many people in our area.  We look forward to the same impact again this year.  Jesus was asked, “When did we clothe you?”  His response was, “When you have done so to the least of these you have done so as unto me.”

New York City Inner City Missions:  Once again we will be blessing children involved in the Living Waters after school program in Queens, NY.  Here is where you can help.  Stop into the resource Room and you will find a table with information on several underprivileged children in NYC to help.  Select a child and then purchase a $25.00 gift card for that child.  These cards will be hand delivered by Butch and Cheri Frye on behalf of Wellspring.

Wellspring Men’s Night:  There will not be a Men’s Night in December.  We want to thank all the men who brought in so many turkeys to be locally distributed during the Christmas Season!

Wellspring Christmas Schedule:  Christmas and New Year’s Service is Scheduled for 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.  There will not be an evening service.  This, along with our holiday concert will be our Wellspring Christmas Schedule for 2011.

Missions Trip-India:  On Dec 29th, Pastors Linda and Jim will be traveling to India where they will be staying with Ruth and Prabhudas from New Hope, India.  They will be there until Jan 20th, 2012.  Will You Please Help?  They will be working directly with pastors and leaders while there and are raising funds for on the ground expenses.  There are three very specific needs.

1.     Prayer

2.    Small school supply items, toiletries, and over the counter medical supplies.  Two full suitcases will be directly delivered upon their arrival.

3.    Financial support.  Please prayerfully consider sending a check to Wellspring Church and in the memo write: Missions-India.  Any amount will help.  Your contribution is tax deductable.

From Your Senior Pastors:

Linda and I are continuing to see God use so many of you in many different ways.  The people who make up the Wellspring Family are truly amazing.  Our food distribution has increased by leaps and bounds.  The last service date we fed well over 100 families.  Our Hearts of Gold Ministry continues to bless so many people in our community with quality household items and furniture.

We are currently enjoying time with family in Virginia and we feel so blessed to know we have such a talented and dedicated team to continue doing amazing things while we are away.  We ask that you continue to pray for the finances for our India trip.  We also ask for prayer as we share the ministry of One Free World and Majed El Shfie while we are here.

We look forward to seeing all of you at the Christmas concert and on Christmas day!

We are honored to serve with you in this!

Blessings,

Pastors Jim and Linda Knarr
