Wellspring Women’s Night: Wellspring
Women will meet again on October 14th @ 7PM. The women will begin their new community
project that was outlined at the bon fire held last month. Linda has heard a lot of positive
feedback and is excited to get started.
Wellspring Men’s Night: Last
month’s tailgate party was a blast!
We will meet again on October 21st at 7PM at Ps. Jim’s
house. We will be having an “End of
the Year Bon Fire” and cookout. We
encourage you to bring friends. This
is open to all men.
Brewer Visit: Wellspring
currently has six active students enrolled at The Kaleo
Institute at Brewer Christian College and Graduate School. On Nov 6th, the college
president and the dean of students will be visiting Wellspring and
presenting Ps. Jim with his Masters in Theology/Pastoral Ministry. We are honored to host members of the
schools administration. We look
forward to seeing you there for this very special visit.
Operation Candy Drop: On
October 30th at the end of our morning service, we will have a
candy drop from the roof of Wellspring!

What
a fantastic month! We had the most
amazing 9/11 service. It was great
as a church to host several town supervisors and the Undersheriff of the
Ontario County Office of Sheriff.
Wellspring brought special recognition to three local heroes that
were selected by their agency.
They were; Deputy Bill Wellman-Ontario County Police Officer,
Trooper Sean Wagner-New York State Police and Senior Chief Mark Watts
(Active Naval Reserves)-Clifton Springs VFW.

The
following week-end we had the best conference ever at Wellspring. So many people have commented on the
awesome ministry of Jimmie Bratcher.
What a blessing it was to see so many actively serving to bring such
a great event to our area. We hosted
several pastors and members from numerous local churches.
Linda
and I continue to be in awe of all the great things God is doing through
Wellspring Church. The economy may
be displayed as bleak in the media, but we know that God’s economy is
constant and never changing. I
learned this week that our local economy has dropped from a rating of .65
to .43. The information was used to
justify how we need to tighten up our belts. However, I am ever more confident that
this is the time for the church to shine.
I personally have made the decision to give more not less. When times are tough, history reveals
that people will turn predominantly to one of two places. Pubs (alcohol) or the church. People will spend their extra finances on
the things that help them feel better.
I pray that the local church continues to be the place that has a
long lasting effect on feeling better.
So church, I encourage you to continue to shine as a beacon of hope
in our area.
We
are honored to serve with you in this!
Blessings,
Pastors
Jim and Linda Knarr
